Very cool.

It makes my miss the way sessions USED to be done..

Lead vocal and electric guitar together, LIVE, in ONE ROOM!!?? :o

Did you catch the one scene where the 414 was wrapped in tissue? Maybe to help with the sibilance? ;)

Did that pre-date Bob Clearmountain using tissues on his NS-10s? :ugeek:

Dear Bob,

One thing in the video definitely brought back OLD memories...all the cigs being smoked <g>.

I never smoked (cigarettes, anyway), but remember sitting next to clients for HOURS with the trail of smoke wafting from the end of the cig directly into my nose!!

I must have smoked more than ALL of my clients, combined, having that second hand smoke directly inhaled with every breath I took!!

That intro where Brian May is playing that KYBD over that drum track is terrible!
Why was there no click track?
It is completely out of time.
He also has no idea how to play inversions.
Those drum fills sound like crap, too!

That video actually kind of bums me out.

The thing it shows me is how people start to work in a vacuum after a point.
I guess it is that self production thing?
That intro should NOT be that hard to play and it still sounds rough timing wise when they are done.

If I was in charge of that session as a producer I would make that all be re-played to a click track.
I forget that drummer guy's name, but he never was very good.
A very average rock drummer at beast.

Sorry to sound so critical, but that was painful to listen to.

(I was going call myself Mr. B because I like people to say "MISTER" when they say my name, but then I pitied the fools.)
