Other Stringed Instruments

Postby Arny » Wed Nov 11, 2009 5:57 pm

I would like to keep each instrument to its own thread so a String or Bluegrass Player does not have to plough through Synths or other instrument posts to find what they are looking for

You have to get the source of sound right then the right mic, EQ will not make up for these things if not they are not right.

Please Post your favourite Stringed Instrument that's not a guitar with your comments
I will be showing a couple I have later.

Best Regards,

Tony.

I own 2 (yup!!) banjolins, made circa 1890 by a company called Bruno. They are in rather crumball condition, until I can afford parts to refurbish them. I also own an excellent antique tenor banjo, don't know who made it. It has an inlaid mother of pearl star on the headstock.....
