Vocals, Vocal Mics & Song Writing Tips

Postby Arny » Thu Nov 12, 2009 4:26 am

I would like to keep each instrument to its own thread so a Siinger or Songwriter does not have to plough through Synths or other instrument posts to find what they are looking for

You have to get the source of sound right then the right mic, EQ will not make up for these things if not they are not right.

Best Regards,

Mic-1.. "Sue's got a great Voice I'll record her"
Mic-2..."Oh no you don't, I was here first.
Mics- 3 ."Look you two, your out numbered, besides we are known as the Vocal Mic, so shuff off." 8-)

Ooh, that RCA looks so... mic-ish! I'm sorry to coin such an awkward word, but that's what many people see when they think of the word "microphone". It's iconic, like the Shure chrome-dome that Elvis was always pictured with.

I don't see anything except the AKG C12 (or is that the C24?)

(I was going call myself Mr. B because I like people to say "MISTER" when they say my name, but then I pitied the fools.)

She looks a little intimidated by that wall of expensive microphones staring her in the face! :)
