Hello to everyone here. My name is Ira. I live in Austin TX.

I had to re-register after the spam problem, but I'm looking forward to catching up on stuff here. I'm restoring an ampex ag-440b 2 track... slowly.

So I'm glad that the board is working again, I hope it stays cool this time!

Hello, my name is Ricardus (Rich) and I am an analog addict. I need to know what to do to ween myself off of the MCI JH-16 that we have at our studio and the Electrodyne console. :-)

Having said that, I built a small mastering suite in my house. I built a new 4-core box, and stole back my ribbon nearfields from the analog room, and will be working entirely in the box until I can afford some slammin outboard gear.

Hey Ricardus!!

Thanks for posting!!

I'm sure you can find more than enough help on your MCI between the MCI Forum, with Jose, Brian Roth's Forums, and Danny Brown's Forums. Brian can probably help with your Electrodyne, and "Arny" can help you with everything!! Please ask questions in their Forums!! :ugeek:

I'm Reggie, and I met Bob on Facebook. I've been into recorded sound for decades. Now I need to build a studio in my studio apartment!
